Progress!!!

The stair rails are up! Now I don't have to worry about the kids falling down the stairs. There are a few finishing things that need to be done, but I like it!

Construction continues!!

Well, the wall is down and the steps have been completed. It took two days to figure out how to do the steps, but they are sturdy and strong and we're still happily married!

Construction Started!

I finally did it. I took down a wall between the stairway and the dining room. Hopefully we'll be able to put in some steps and a railing so we can go downstairs either through the dining room or the kitchen. It already lets more light into the kitchen.

Spring, Spring where are you?

We had two days of lovely spring weather, then, woke up to another 'spinter' storm that left several inches of wet, wet snow. It's really cold too, and my poor tulips look unhappy!

Family Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful time at Disneyland for our Lundgren family Thanksgiving.

We spent three days at Disneyland, going on rides and waiting in lines. It was really crowded, I don't think we'll go on a major holiday again. All in all I think everyone had a great time.

I know that the kids had a fun time. So did I. I loved riding all the thrilling rides. Space Mountain, what a blast!

Shelby's Baptism and our Trip

• We had a fun time in California. Went swimming and enjoyed the hot days. Carbon got a rash that covered him all over. We think he is allergic to the sun.

• Shelby was very excited to be baptized. She was cute asking her grandpa to be a witness and to help stand in the circle when she was confirmed.

I'm scrapbooking!

• I just learned to scrapbook by using Creative Memories. So far I've done our trip to New York 2 summers ago. Here is a sample.
• I finished 9 pages of our trip and my next project is the grandkids. I'd like to get some current pictures of them, so when you come to visit I hope to have my camera at the ready!
